A part-time opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services. This role focuses on delivering virtual speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions in Spanish for students within the Virginia Beach area school district. The position operates on an as-needed basis, typically involving two to three evaluations per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Spanish-language speech and language evaluations and teletherapy sessions to school-aged children in a virtual setting
- Conduct assessments to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines
- Collaborate remotely with school personnel and families as needed to support student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Proficiency in Spanish with the ability to deliver therapy services in this language
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, ranging from entry-level to seasoned professionals
- Strong teletherapy skills and comfort working virtually with children
